Local charity Read-Cycling (IRNo.91/10408) is committed to promoting book recycling and sustainable lifestyles since 2009. The story began when book lover mom Cynthia suddenly came to realize that their house was overflowing with books, grownups and children’s. After researching into the usual practice of various book recycling institutions, she felt there’s a better solution for her pre-loved books—set up a brand-new charity named Read-Cycling(書送快樂)
What do we do?
Charity sale
Host Bring a Book & Share, our annual readers carnival, to let book lovers treasure hunt from more than 10,000 books of various interests. Reorganize our warehouse and use the freed-up space, such as PPO Library, for hasting charity sate.
Re-donation
Invite NGOs/schools to select books from our warehouse for their members/students as many as they like, for free. Organize free book trips for the less-privileged families to choose their favorite books at our events/warehouse.
